History of creation and development of the collection

"Bulletin of Odesa National Marine University" was published for the first time in September, 1998 (university's name was Odesa Institute of Marine Engineers till 1998 and Odesa State Maritime University till 2002). Bulletin's certificate of the state registration is KB №2783 dd. 25.07.1997; bulletin was re-registered in 2011, the certificate is KB №17536-6286 P dd. 11.02.2011.

Bulletin is a special scientific edition of Ukraine in which results of dissertation works for graduation for Doctor of Science degree and the Philosophy Doctor degree can be published. Bulletin was founded by Yuriy L. Vorob'yov, famous scientist in the field of vessel's hydrodynamic. He was used as rector of OIME - OSMU - ONMU from 1989 till 2003.

The ONMU bulletin is focused on the experts that investigate scientific problems of water transport as well as of all branches adjacent to water transport.
